Counseling Services

Your EAP benefit provides assistance in assessment and referral to resources that will help resolve any personal issues affecting your well-being. This benefit provides City of Santa Monica employees and their dependents up to 5 face to face counseling sessions per problem, per year.
 

This EAP benefit can help you with a variety of issues: 
* Marital and family problems
* Child or adult care issues
* Alcohol and/or drug abuse
* Balancing work and family
* Work related concerns
* Career transition issues
* Personal growth and development.

REMINDER: As of January 1, 2002, your Mental Health Benefits will be administered through your PERS medical plan. You will need to contact your medical carrier to determine your coverage.
