If you don't read it, you've got to at least know this much to preserve your

Blue Cards
MEA Full Dues Paying Members have filled out a blue card as a represented
member. If you do not recall filling out your Blue Card, contact your local
MEA Board Director as soon as possible or fill it out when approached by an
MEA Board Director.
Weingarten Rights
If you find yourself being interviewed by management and there is no MEA
Director or Steward available, you have the right to request representation
and delay the meeting until you can get someone. Management knows this, but
they have no obligation to remind you - this is not your Miranda Rights -
this is your Weingarten Rights and you must request representation for
yourself.
If you cannot get anyone to help you at that moment and you decide to go
ahead with the meeting, tell management that you will hear them out but you
will have nothing to say until you speak with your advocate. Think
critically and independently. Speak as little as possible.
Don't assume management is on your side and please Don't Talk Too Much!!!
